Founded by Dominic Liantonio in 1922, the Flatbush Moving Van Company has flourished for almost a century in the moving and storage industry. After returning from 5 years of service during World War II, Dominic’s sons John and Joseph took over the reins of the family business and expanded the small trucking company into an impressive fleet of vans and state of the art storage facilities. Under the brothers’ direction, the Flatbush Moving Van Company became an agent of Wheaton World Wide Moving. They have consistently earned the Good Housekeeping Seal of approval every year since 1964.
Now in its 3rd Generation, The Flatbush Moving Van Company president is John J. Liantonio Jr., a graduate of Fordham University. John was raised in the moving business, learning every facet of the industry from his father, John Liantonio. He is the President of Affiliated Moving Van Owners and has been a member of the Board Of Directors at Lovell Safety Group for over 12 years. He also attained the prestigious official title of “Certified Moving Consultant’ from the National Institute of Certified Moving Consultants. Like his Father and Grandfather before him, John has dedicated his career to helping people through the challenge and stress of moving, making it as easy and comfortable as possible.
